Drake of the London Falcons, Bian Robinson fined a combined $33,766
In addition to an overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers to close out the season, two members of the team Atlanta Falcons they also had losses in their wallets, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported. Wide receiver Drake London is affected by a $11,255 fine for mockery after catching a touchdown pass late in the first half. Running back Sesame Robinson received a $22,511 fine for unnecessary roughness in the fourth quarter.
This is it London received the second penalty this season. After catching a touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins to tie the game against the Philadelphia Eagles late in the game — setting up Yangho Kuo for the game-winning PAT attempt — on Week 2 Monday Night Football in London he pretended to shoot a gun. This celebration resulted in a fine of $14,069.
“There’s a lot of stuff going on in the world about gun violence that I don’t think I should have put out there,” London said. “So I’m not too happy with that and (you) probably won’t see that from me again.”
This isn’t the first time Robinson has been involved in a good situation this season. The Falcons were fined $75,000 and head coach Arthur Smith was fined $25,000 for failing to report Robinson’s illness on the injury report before their Week 7 game against the Buccaneers.
The Falcons fell 44-38 against the Panthers. The loss didn’t matter in the end, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of business against the New Orleans Saints to secure the NFC South championship for the fourth straight season.
London caught 10 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Robinson had 170 total yards rushing and two touchdowns on 28 carries. Both players led their positions by a significant margin.

Will the Falcons be a playoff team in 2025?

The Falcons nearly ended their seven-year playoff drought in 2024 – holding the NFC South lead for a decent portion of the season – but came up short at the end of the season.
After starting 6-3, the Falcons dropped six of their last eight games, finishing the season 8-9. This was the seventh consecutive season in which they finished below .500.
The Saints and Panthers don’t appear to be even close to competing for the division next season, meaning it will most likely come down to the Buccaneers and Falcons again.
