The status of UFC 311 is in question amid the devastating wildfires in California

On Saturday next week, UFC 311 is set to take place over that the Intuit Dome in California for the first promotional show at the new venue. However, the fires in California who have gripped by the state and still raging.

This caused number of sporting events that will be postponed or even cancelled. As a result, many questions have been raised about the event. It is worth noting that no decision has been made yet.

Speaking on the same, MMA journalist Ariel Helvani offered insight into the matter. Although it suggests that the plan for the event is to go according to plan, the promotion is open to relocation if the situation arises. he said:

“From now on, 311 resides at Intuit.” The hope is that it stays there. But they follow and are ready to go card, if necessary. no it’s about putting the card away. Obviously that call should happen soon.”
