Despite Gilgeous-Aleksander’s stars, Coach Nugget stressed that his support for Jokic did not work on the Kidania of other candidates.
“I will never recruit negatively. As if Shai is not a good player, if he wins it, I will actually know because it is such a great guy who is great for this game,” Malone said. “So for me it’s not Nicholas vs. Shai, I promote my boyfriend because I know what he thinks about this game. When you look out of historical perspective, he does things that no one has ever done.”
Jokic is known for its quiet, modest behavior. When asked about MVP races, in a rare instance, Jokic said he believed he plays the best basketball career. But he was also sure he would give him Gilgeous-Alexander.
“I’ll say I think I play the best basketball of my life, so if that’s enough, it’s enough,” Jokic said through Alitney TV Katie Vinga. “If not, the guy deserves it. It’s really amazing.”
As the regular season wind decreases, the MVP race seems to be selected between Jokić’s historical comprehensive shine and Gilgeos-Alexprov explosives and team successes.
