Packers’ Josh Jacobs hints at 2025 free agent recruiting

The The Green Bay Packers faced the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs on Sunday night. A win in Green Bay would send the team to the Motor City to face the rival Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round. however, The Packers lost to the Eagles despite a good run performance Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs rushed for 81 yards Sunday night in Philly. He added another 40 yards on three catches during the game. However, it was not enough. The Eagles beat Green Bay 22-10 on Sunday. They will host the winner of the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams, who play Monday night in Arizona.
After the game, Jacobs collapsed interesting hint in an off-season relationship. “Our locker room will be different. We have some guys under contract this year. We don’t know what it’s going to look like, how it’s going to shake out, but I know I’m going to try to get some guys in here,” the Packers running back said, via Matt Schneidman of the Athletics.

Josh Jacobs and the Packers were certainly hoping to make a deep playoff run. After all, Green Bay was just one drive away from the NFC Championship last season. However, it was not to be. The Packers head home and prepare for the offseason.
In some respects, it’s not too hard to see where things went wrong. Green Bay has been a good team this season and has beaten some other really good teams. Having said this, they failed to take down the best of the best. Including the playoffs, they lost six games this year. All six losses came against the Eagles, Lions and Vikings.
Injuries certainly didn’t help matters either. Packers star Jordan Love was not 100% heading into this game against Philadelphia. Furthermore, Green Bay lost multiple key players to injury on Sunday. Everything piled up, and Green Bay couldn’t overcome it.
The 2025 season should be a promising one for this team. However, a loss to the Eagles will surely hurt all summer long. Let’s see what the Packers front office does to try to contend for a Super Bowl this offseason.
