Commander Jaden Daniels’ brilliance has Draymond Green in awe

Washington Commanders quarterback Jaden Daniels has received huge praise for his performances as a rookie while making his NFL playoff debut, earning praise Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

Green spoke with Fox Sports’ NFL insider Jordan Schultz in an episode Why is Draymond Green talking about football? With Jordan Schultz show He was in awe Daniels’ composure that allowed the Commanders to have their best season in a decade.

“You don’t get that from rookie quarterbacks, like he’s so ready. Like, what a rookie quarterback. “Did you see him get the ball in a position where he got the ball and everybody in the world knew, like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s going to do it,'” Green said before referring to Daniels’ last time vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at NFL playoffs.

“The feeling I had watching Jaden Daniels go on that last drive was like when you see Brady get the ball, like you see Peyton get the ball, and when you see Patrick Mahomes get the ball, you’re like, ‘Oh yes, that’s it. And he had that feeling. And sure enough, that’s exactly what it was. I mean, it was just a piece of cake. And you just don’t get that from a rookie.”

Jaden Daniels flashed a clutch gene in his playoff debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, proving why he is a star in the making.

Daniels completed 24 passes at a 68.6% completion rate, finishing with 268 yards and two touchdowns. It was an entertaining affair between the two sides, as Tampa Bay led 17-13 before Washington got it going.

In the aforementioned finale with the score tied at 20, he made key passes downfield to give punter Zane Gonzalez the best possible distance for a 37-yard game-winning field goal.

The Commanders are in the midst of their best season. And if they have a chance to reach their first Super Bowl since 1991, Daniels would play a big role in that.

Fighting for a spot in the NFC Championship Game, the Commanders face the one-seed Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round at Ford Field on Saturday night at 8:00 PM ET.
