Stephen Curry makes clear demand amid Warriors injuries

Injuries are a thing for all NBA teams, incl Golden State Warriors. After a 40-point loss to the Boston Celtics, the Warriors are on guard Stephen Curry he was not the least bit happy. However, he was not the only one who was not satisfied. His head coach, Steve Kerr, was speechless.

Despite the Celtics’ record, he felt it was unacceptable. for example, Kerr dropped the demoralizing truth about the Warriors’ loss. “Everybody that steps on the floor has to step up and bring the spirit you belong to and do it together,” Curry said. “We have to believe that we have enough every night.” It’s a mental thing, rather than a physical thing.”

Even with the influx of injuries, there is still that championship standard that Curry is trying to establish. After all, he and Kerr both have four and know what it takes to get there.

Stephen Curry wants the Warriors to be more engaged

Lack of talent is one thing, but not capitalizing on the effort is a big miss for any NBA team. The infamous phrase “hard work beats talent when talent fails to beat hard work” could be expounded upon here. The Warriors miss Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga doesn’t make things easy.

The defense loads up on Curry and forces him to play hero ball. The superstar point guard wants his players to show more effort. Whether it’s on the glass, cutting hard to the basket or setting tough screens, establishing toughness will make other teams respect Golden State, Van Curry.

However, this season looks like the Warriors are on the outside looking in. The Celtics’ success is reminiscent of Golden State’s success in 2022. Interestingly, both teams competed in the NBA Finals that season. Fast forward two to three seasons and Boston has maintained its trajectory.

On the other hand, Golden State has regressed. Even though injuries don’t help, that’s no excuse for the team. Fortunately, the Western Conference has about a the three-game difference between 11th and 6th place. If the Warriors can get some wins before the break, they’ll be back where they were sooner rather than later.
