Classing Panters’ 2025 NHL Draft Class

The Florida Panthers are your two-way defend champions. This is an amazing feat and one on which continues to build. However, this success comes with a price. Their next selection came a little later at 128. Florida chose to take Shea Busch, the wing with VHL is Everett Silvertips. BUSCH impressed after entering Everett during the season. He is mostly the net presence of the front that will also throw the body.

One committee later, Panters selected the Batallion Winger Shamar Moses. Moses can have the most most disposable. He has a great shot and an impressive awareness on ice. He also plays a physical mark of hockey that will be pretty well translated by panters.

None of these three players of the project as top options for Florida. Moses has the opportunity to be a medium shooter, but it’s the best scenario. All three of them, however, play NHL games. All in all, these guys don’t hurt Panters. They probably didn’t get top talent in these later circles. However, they must determine to prioritize players who show little NHL potential. It is clear that Panthers believe in these players. It’s far from Pundita to say they’re wrong. Saying that they are massive cubes and a little more needed.

Grades and final thoughts

All in all, the panthers get an average grade for the NHL draft class. Florida did not get the most potential in their class. But their goals are much different from other teams. They are looking for players that design to make an impact on the NHL level. And the kind of players landed with exactly half of their drafts.

Will someone from this class get closer to the NHL? It is obviously too early to say. But the potential is that this class makes a difference in a role. Moses, for example, could become a middle six shooter. Some evaluators believe that Cleva also does not reveal an offensive potential. There may be unused potential for these guys late round gems.

However, the final three choices require a lot of work. If there is a team that can afford to be patient, it is an ambiguous wiping of the Stanley Cup champion that does not show signs of slowing. At the same time, they need NHL projective players to help this train be held. They missed that with some of these late guys.
