CJ Fulton: Belfast basketball player hugs NBA dream with Minnesota Timbervolves
A summer league that takes place over a 11-day period in Las Vegas is an opportunity for Fulton to amaze in front of the largest names in sports.
Fulton aims to become a third player born Irish Irish to earn a chance to compete at the highest level in the United States after Pat Burke and Susan Morana.
“It gives teams a chance to assess their group and make a decision on their poster in a year,” Ireland International added.
“Its evil to think and I never thought I would be in this position.
“We have a training camp in Minnesota for a few days, and then we move in Vegas as a team. I will try to learn how much I can embrace the opportunity.
“I hope I can give a good view about myself, but it will really cool that all talent can be seen there. 30 teams and famous personalities – the whole job, so I’m really excited.”
Fulton says “You never know what can happen” but feels that there are options outside the NBA if the wood wolveri looked elsewhere.
He says M-League, the NBA’s team-joining development league, could be on the cards or could be returned to Europe for falsifying a professional career – as well as his initial plan before his NBA dreams caused life.
“NBA would be unrealistic, but we’ll see what happens.
“I never thought it was in a picture for me. My goal that comes out of college was to try to reach the highest levels of Europe.
“I didn’t think I’d get this opportunity, but now I’m here, I’ll try to use that maximum.
“It would be pretty big.”
