NSFV’s Kevin Durant on Warriors trade talks

The new NBA Netflix show ‘Starting Five’ is already getting some crazy reactions, especially from exes Phoenix Suns all-star and All-NBA forward Kevin Durant.

In the middle of a stormy season, a report was made about The Suns are trying to trade Durant to the Golden State Warriors. When he found out about it, he immediately refused the trade and gave quite a reaction.

“There’s no way they’re doing this s**t behind my back,” Durant said on the show.

Despite the Suns’ underwhelming and underwhelming season, Durant himself had another incredible season. However, he suffered an ankle injury that cost him a shot at the All-NBA team.

If he had played the minimum 65 games required for the league, he would have easily been in the first team. Either way, injuries, lack of chemistry and unrealistic expectations derailed the championship roster.

now, Durant found a new home after the Suns; this time with the Houston Rockets. However, the rollercoaster of the 2024-25 season is beginning to emerge.

In a Sports Illustrated article, Slim Reaper mentioned that he wanted to retire in Phoenix. His chemistry with Devin Booker was never in question.

In fact, the two had an impressive level of chemistry. When it was just the two of them playing together, the franchise he posted a 78-43 record through two and a half seasons.

Now, Durant will be on his way to winning another championship and being the guy on a young, yet established Houston team.

On the other hand, Booker and his Suns team are entering a new era without any superstars. They will go with a young core and likely won’t have the deep success that the Rockets will have.

Regardless of what happened, all parties seem happy with Durant and where he is. But this likely won’t be the only time he exposes the foundations of the Phoenix Suns’ chaotic and out-of-control 2024-25 season.
