Dallas fills the last spot on the two-way roster

The The Dallas Mavericks are ready to go the 2025-26 season with a home opener against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 22. With the first game of the season just days away, the franchise has made another roster move.
Reports indicate the Mavericks are signing center Moussa Cisse to a two-way contractaccording to Michael Scotto of HoopsHipe and USA Today. The 23-year-old center will play for Dallas and the franchise’s G-League affiliate, the Texas Legends.
“The Dallas Mavericks and Moussa Cisse have agreed to a two-way deal, agent Iann Balikouzou of Lift Sports Management told HoopsHipe.
Cisse also signed fills the last two-way slot on the Mavericks’ roster, according to Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News. That means the front office is probably done adding two-way players to the roster before the season starts.
“The Mavs had one two-way contract spot open and Cisse is filling it.”
Moussa Cisse is a rookie center who went unselected in the 2025 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-10 center played five seasons of college basketball. During his collegiate career he played for the Memphis Tigers, Oklahoma State Cowboys and Ole Miss Rebels. He played for the Tigers in his first year before moving away. He ended up returning to Memphis for his redshirt senior year.
In five years of college ball, Cisse averaged 5.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 56.1% from the field and 43.8% from the free throw line.
