David Pastrnak sends a “tough” message after the Mammoth loss
The The Boston Bruins are off to a good start until the 2025-26 season. Unfortunately, things are not so good at the moment. Boston won its first three games of the year, but has now lost four straight. David Pastrnak scored two goals, but the Utah Mammoth skated away Sunday night with a 3-2 victory on home ice.
Boston was down early in the game, but Pastrnak’s second goal gave them the lead. However, this lead lasted about 10 minutes, before Clayton Keller equalized again. In the third period, young goaltender Dylan Guenther gave Utah the lead for good.
After the game, Pastrnak was asked about his team’s unfortunate road trip. Boston lost all three games on this road trip. Bruins star acknowledged their positive sidesbut he noted that it was a difficult journey regardless.
“Obviously, tough score at the end,” Pastrnak said, via NHL.com. “I actually thought our game was pretty good, a lot better than previous road games. So, a tough road for us. We’ll have to get back home in front of our fans and regroup.”
The Bruins are preparing for Brad Marchand’s emotional return to the Panthers matchup

The Bruins are not in action again until Tuesday. However, this is a very emotional game that the team is preparing for. The Bruins welcome Brad Marchand and the Florida Panthers to the city. This is Marchand’s first game in Boston since trade back in March.
Marchand wanted to play for the Stanley Cup one more time. With the contract expiring and Boston out of contention, the trade made sense. In the end, Marchand won the Cup he wanted with the Panthers back in June.
This game is a big moment at the beginning of the year for both teams. Both clubs enter the competition with four consecutive defeats. It will be an emotional game, but both will want to win. It’s a contest many hockey fans will want to tune into on Tuesday night.
