Seth Rollins’ updated injury timeline gives hope for WrestleMania
Despite previous reports that Seth Rollins shoulder injury and surgery can keep him away VVE WrestleMania 42that may not be the case.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestle Purists), Dave Meltzer confirmed that Rollins definitely for surgery to repair his injury. However, when surgery is in progress, the VVE can know the full extent of the injury. However, there is some “hope” that it may instill WrestleMania 42.
“When they open it up, they’ll find out, they don’t know all the damage to his shoulder, and they’ll find out the damage when they open it up, and when they do the surgery, they’ll have an idea,” Meltzer said. “I guess the best way to put it is they’re hoping it’s going to be good for WrestleMania. There’s no way of knowing today if it’s going to be or not.”
At the end of the day, Rollins isn’t going to completely break free. “He’s probably out for months,” Meltzer added, so expect Rollins to miss some time out of the ring.
Seth Rollins’ latest WWE injury comes at the worst time
Unfortunately, Rollins will miss time at a crucial time of the year. It’s never a good time to be injured, but Rollins is the current World Heavyweight Champion. So, VVE will have to figure out how to turn around.
Earlier in 2025, Rollins created the Vision faction. It started in WrestleMania 41 when Paul Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns and CM Punk to join Rollins.
Soon after, Braun Breaker, a rising star in WWE, joined the group as one of Rollins’ enforcers. Bronson Reed would later join Vision as well.
After Crown Jewelduring which Rollins defeated Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to win his first Crown Jewel Championship, Rollins was kicked out of Vision. Breaker betrayed Rollins during the next episode Monday night RAV.
Breaker then asked Heyman and Reed to pick sides. Reed didn’t hesitate before hitting a tsunami on Rollins. Heyman reluctantly joined forces with Reed and Breaker as the episode ended.
