We knew it was very close to returningmore Jalen Suggs got the green light to play again tonight, for the first game of the season against the Heat. The guard was finally able to participate in 5-on-5 practice with contact and will suit up tonight.

Shot in the left knee last season,former Gonzaga player will have a new teammate at the back in Desmond Bain and their tandem could be one of the toughest in the league. “It’s great to see him back on the field with his teammates, or rather as he likes to call them ‘his brothers'”, Jamal Mosley rejoiced. “He brings so much with his energy, his toughness, his defensive impact as a leader, but also his composure and control of the game in attack.

Last season, Suggs posted career-best averages (16.2 points, 4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals) before stopped by this injurysynonymous with work and the end of the season. Like Mosley, his teammates realize how valuable he is to the game.
