As the NBA season continued, The G-League held its draft on Saturdaywhich brings together 30 teams affiliated with NBA franchises, as well as the Mexico City Capitanes. As in the NBA, it lasts two rounds, with 31 picks per round.

In the top two spots, we find two former NBA draft picks from the South Bay Lakers Dillon Jones with his 1st choice. The 23-year-old former Thunder rookie averaged 2.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per 10 minutes last season.

With the second pick, the Osceola Magic gambled on Tyler Smith, who was recently cut by Milwaukee. At No. 4, Grand Rapids Gold opted for Adam Ball, and the Frenchman was then sent to Westchester Knicks.

Other notable names in the first round include Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jabri Abdur-Rahim, son of G League president Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

Teams will now fill out their training camp rosters with affiliates, rights holders and camp guests, who will be added to two-way contracts sent by their NBA franchises.

Training camps begin this Monday, before the Tip-Off Tournament scheduled for November 7th. The G League regular season begins on December 19, 2025.
