Karl-Anthony Towns missing in Milwaukee
What happened to Karl-Anthony Towns in milwaukee? The question arises because the interior has gone through this encounter as a ghost or almost. His first half was extremely discreet, which didn’t bother his coach.
“We were good in the first half and it starts with him”, analyze Mike Brown. “He was great offensively in the first half. Sometimes the shot attempts don’t show that we have a great game. He only attempted one shot because the Bucks defended him hard. When he had the ball, he would draw another defender and take the ball.”
After the break, “KAT” tried to show more. But he did it without any precision, shooting very questionable shots, finishing the period with a terrible 1/11 on the shot… Not forgetting the turnovers (3) and the mistakes made (5).
“We want the ball to circulate, we want the spacing to be good and, I assure you, if we do things right, everything will be fine for KAT”assures Mike Brown, who therefore blames the poor performance of his interior on the unsuccessful Knicks team in the second half of the meeting.
A new role to embrace
The former Minnesotan finished, in this defeatwith very poor offensive stats: 8 low points on 2/12 shooting and 12 rebounds. And his lack of influence was felt in the “time of money”.
“I have to do what is necessary to win and in the first half I played like that. Then I felt that the match changed and I tried to do more, without shooting, so I pushed a little”raconte by Karl-Anthony Towns. “I didn’t do what was needed to win and I take responsibility for that.”
But how can we explain such a failed encounter when the start of the season has been fine so far? Was he ashamed his physical care seen at the beginning of the season?
“I have a new role, I just have to accept it”he answers. “I didn’t do it for 48 minutes in that game. It’s only the fourth of the season, we still have to learn. Me first. I have to be better, play with more rhythm. The system is different from what we did before.”
