The Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Moonwalker” joins the dance

It was already more than ten years ago. Nike went all out by releasing a series Kobe 9 on the occasion of returning to the courts in Kobe Bryant for the 2014-2015 season, after he ruptured his Achilles tendon against the Warriors, followed by a major knee injury suffered against the Grizzlies.

Ten years later, and as the late Kobe’s family reconciled with Nike, this 9th signature model made a splash by returning with three colorways: “Black Gold,” “Game Royal,” and “White Purple” already available. Here’s a new one, called “Moonwalker”!

Its “Cave Purple” upper pays homage to pop music and includes a lunar surface graphic on the sole. Finishes are contrasted with a gray overall to highlight the ‘Swoosh’ on the upper and the player logo on the tongue. As a reminder, the “React” foam midsole is equipped with a carbon fiber plate that combines comfort and stability.
