Magic Johnson hilariously thanks Austin Reaves for making up for Dodgers loss

There’s been a lot going on in the Los Angeles sports world, as there’s been good and then there’s been bad. It’s bad that it is The Dodgers are down 3-2 in the World Series to the Toronto Blue Jays, and they are now one game away from elimination. The only thing that could have been better was for the Lakers to win, and they did in the final seconds against the Minnesota Timberwolves thanks to Austin Reaves.
Magic Johnson he was one of many people on social media who thanked Reaves for feeling better after the tough loss to the Dodgers.
“Austin, thank you for making me feel a little better after my Dodgers lost,” Johnson wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Of course, so did Johnson give your in-depth analysis game before he went to sleep.
“Austin Reaves was the hero for the Lakers tonight, hitting the game-winning shot and finishing with 28 points and 16 assists,” Johnson wrote.
It was definitely Reaves’ nightas he answered the call with Luka Doncic and LeBron James sidelined with injuries. He kept the Lakers afloat all night, and when the Timberwolves came back with a second left in the game to take a one-point lead, it didn’t faze him.
Reaves split the defense, had to paint, lift and float, and watched it sink as the play clock ticked down simultaneously. It was a big win for the Lakers, and they may need more from Reaves for now. The good news is that Doncic should only miss a week, so he could be back in the next few games.
As for James, no one really knows when he’ll be back, but reports have always said it’s mid-November, which is just a few weeks from now.
