Zacharie Risacher now tied to Atlanta through 2027

First pick of the 2024 draft, Zachary Risacher learned that the leaders ofAtlanta decided to practice his ” team option » for the 2026/27 season. In short, that means he’ll get $13.8 million tied to his franchise until the summer of 2027. And undoubtedly beyond that, while Victor Vembanyama, Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly also saw their ” team options » be activated in recent days.
This, of course, is not surprising, when we know that the 20-year-old Frenchman is the starter in Hawkssince the first year in the league. Second in the 2025 Rookie of the Year voting, he posted 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game (36% from 3-point range) on a playoff-bound team.
Due to an ankle injury, Zacharie Risacher’s second NBA season has gotten off to a rough start so far (8.7 ppg, 30% from 3-point range), but he’s kept his place in Atlanta’s top five, after a studio summerand the franchise now hopes to take a step forward in the Eastern Conference.
Note that the young Hawks wing has another “ team option » in his contract, for the 2027/28 campaign: $17.4 million. From 2027, he will also be eligible to sign his first real contract in Georgia…
