Why Shaquille O’Neal trusts the Dubs’ lineup more than any other team
Despite that The Golden State Warriors lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on thursday night, the team is off to a hot start this season, and many have high expectations for them going forward. While it is The Warriors lost to the Bucks without Giannis Antetokounmpothe team still received great respect from many in the basketball world, such as Shaquille O’Neal.
In a conversation with Rich Eisen on his show of the same name, O’Neal was asked about his prospects for Golden State this season and how they started, prompting the former player and basketball analyst to offer high praise. He would go so far as to say he believed “Those five in the playoffs more than I trust any five,” in view Stephen Curry, Jimmy ButlerDraymond Green, Al Horfordand Jonathan Cumminga.
“I like the way they play. I trust that five in the playoffs more than any other five,” O’Neal said. “Steph, Jimmy, Draymond, old Al Horford, just that experience is going to be very important, but then you have a young guy like Cummings, who mixes it up very well, so you know, when it comes to the postseason, and, you know, having experience and, you know, slowing down the game and always making the right critical decision, I like that lineup a lot.
“I trust that five in the playoffs more than any other five … I like that lineup a lot.”

Warriors’ Steve Kerr on the rotation

After a dominant start to the season for the Warriorsthe starting lineup is an interesting one that head coach Steve Kerr will look to solidify as time goes on. Speaking after beating the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday that it would be a “form” Horford comes off the bench, and depending on the match, the fifth place will go to either Quinten Post or Brandin Podziemski.
“This is going to be a pattern for us,” Kerr said, via 95.7 The Game . “I really just want to get Al (Horford) off the bench. If it’s going to be 20 minutes, 20 to 25 minutes, I’d rather have him come off the bench and be able to close with him if we need to, like we did against Denver. So we’ll probably go back and forth between Quentin and BP (Brandin Podziemski, just depending on what the matchup is at center right now).
Anyway, the Warriors take on the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
