Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld channel Adam Sandler’s classic Halloween movie

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld went the classic route for his own first Halloween together as a married couple.

Allen and Steinfeld drew inspiration for their costume from the 1998 Adam Sandler film, The Waterboy. In the film, Sandler plays Robert Boucher Jr., and he is able to use his newfound skill to join the team as a player.

For the costume, Allen wore khakis, red and black flannel, a brown vest and a red flag attached to his backpack. He also held a glass and some party glasses. As for Steinfeld, she wore jeans, a black crop top, a black leather jacket and a blue baseball cap. She also held up a sign that said, “Do you want me to kill them?”

The Buffalo Bills quarterback was co-starred by Robert Boucher Jr., and Sinners actress Vicky Valencourt played by Fairuza Balk. In addition, the film stars Kathy Bates, Henry Winkler, Jerry Reed and others.

Allen is a known film buff, so it’s no surprise that the couple decided to do something related to the film — I think Steinfeld’s co-star is an Oscar nominee, so he’s in her wheelhouse.

Bills KB takes his love of movies to the next level. Earlier this year, he signed a “multi-year deal with Skidance — which already has a joint venture with the NFL — to start a new media companyco-developing and producing original programming,” says NBA insider Adam Schefter.

The NFL MVP said his content will be more than just entertainment and will hopefully give hope to other creatives.

“Using my platform to do good and be good is very important to me, and Skidance is a great partner who can help me achieve this goal, through the creation of compelling content that aims to inspire,” he said.

Allen joins NBA powerhouses Stephen Curry and LeBron James who have production companies.
