Who needs a coroner when you have Doubs as a teammate?

It is not clear what was the thought process of 25-year-old Doubs. Was it just a challenge? Or was he just trolling? Whatever it was, it certainly caught the attention of fans, who had a field day posting dryly humorous comments.

“The doctors did everything they could, and he (Kraft) will be fine,” vhs2220000 said.

“To my friend, Tucker Kraft: Rest now bro, we have a watch and see you in Valhalla,” wrote Conscious_Kei7513.

“They took him back out and shot him like a horse,” joked 19683dv.

“Romeo the troll. If you watch any of our social media videos with him, he’s always dumb and sarcastic as s***,” suggested ProofHorseKzoo.

“I like to imagine Tucker Kraft standing in a leg brace with crutches, 2-3 lockers from Romeo Doubs while this interview was being conducted,” moonfishthegreat added.

Kraft suffered an ACL injury early in the third quarter while trying to block a Panthers rush.

Before the devastating setback, the 25-year-old Kraft was enjoying a sensational campaign. He was tied with Dallas Cowboys’ Jake Ferguson for the second most touchdowns at their position with six. He was also third among tight ends with 489 receiving yards.

Again, just to be absolutely clear: Kraft is still alive.
