The L2M report proved Jailen Brown’s fiery NSFV speech 100% accurate

Recently, the The Boston Celtics are down to 3-5 in the young 2025-26 NBA season with a home loss to the Utah Jazz that came down to the final seconds. A controversial moment occurred late in this game when the Celtics were winging it Jailen Brown had the ball at the top of the key and tripped over a down Jazz defender without hearing the whistle.

The Jazz went on to score on the ensuing fast break, and Brown attacked the officials after the game.

Now, the NBA has confirmed his belief that the Celtics were wronged.

“The NBA L2M report confirms Monday night’s Celtics-Jazz call was incorrect and a foul should have been called where Keyonte George slipped, causing Jaylen Brown to trip and fall,” reported ClutchPoints on X, formerly Twitter.

“You can’t make a mistake like that, as an official at that point in the game. It’s the fourth quarter, there’s a minute left … the whole staff blows the f—ing call,” Brown said after the game.

The Celtics would end up tying the game before Jazz big man Jusuf Nurkic finished off the win with a layup with less than a second left on the offensive rebound.

The early comeback for the Boston Celtics in the 2025-26 season was exactly as expected. Jaylen Brown has played at an elite level for the most part, but guard Derrick White has seen his shooting opportunities drop dramatically now that he’s guarded by stronger opposing defenders and doesn’t have the same quality of shooting as he did when he was surrounded by four All-Star-caliber players.

Still, losing isn’t the worst thing in the world for a Celtics team that knows it won’t be able to contend for anything significant this season.

Either way, Boston will try to get back into the win column on Wednesday night when they host the Washington Wizards at 7:30 PM ET.
