Pelicans’ Dejounte Murray will reportedly miss the rest of the season with Achilla injury
New Orleans Pelikans watchman Dejounte Murrai will miss the rest of the season with torn with tendon, according to Chris Haines report On Friday.
Murray left Pelican play against Boston in the first quarter of Friday on Friday night with an injury to the lower right leg. The coach of Pelican Villie Green did not have the weight of the weight injury after the game, which Nev Orleans lost 118-116.
“There’s no update yet,” Green said. “Some recording will get and then we will have an update.”
Murray drove in the tape and shot, then went to Chase after his Miss. But he fell to the court and grabbed the area near the right foot. When he got up, he pierced the nearby pelicane bench.
Pelicans announced quickly that Murray would not return to the game.
“It is extremely difficult, when you see a guy that means so much on our team and puts work in this,” said green. “We will continue to pray for him and see what happens after it gets recording.”
Neglected pelicans have already played without Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Herb Jones.
“These are the challenges we go through pretty full season,” green said.
