Zacharie Risacher hits a windmill dunk against the trailing Lakers


Zachary Risacher pulled a trick out of his dunk bag in Atlanta The match between the Hawks and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.

Rizaher is going through the second season of his NBA career. He is improving as a shooter and playmaker while continuing to be effective for a playoff-bound Atlanta team.

Rizacher has proven to be consistent in his overall production, especially on offense. The the peak occurred in the middle of the third quarter. Rizaher stole the ball from Luka Doncic after a poor pass, as the athletic forward threw a windmill jam.

Zachary Rizacher’s miraculous dunk was the highlight of the Hawks who enjoyed a huge win over the Lakers.

Atlanta jumped out to an early lead of 37-29 after the first quarter. It grew to a 14-point lead at halftime and then 26 after the third quarter, proving it was the Hawks’ night.

Perimeter shooting, ball movement and turnovers made the difference in this matchup. The Hawks won in all three categories, making 16 3-pointers, dishing out 37 assists and limiting their turnovers to just 11. The opposite was true for the Lakers, who made 12 3-pointers and had 23 assists, but committed 20 turnovers.

Seven players scored in double figures for Atlanta, including Rizacher. He finished with 19 points, four assists, two steals and a rebound. He shot 7-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. Mouhamed Gueie had 21 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. Asa Newell with 17 points and five rebounds, Whit Krejci with 17 points and three rebounds, Keaton Wallace with 14 points and seven assists, while Onyeka Okongwu had 12 points and eight rebounds. Meanwhile, Dyson Daniels had 10 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds.

The Hawks will be looking forward to their next match, as they are on the road. They face the Los Angeles Clippers on November 10th at 10:30pm ET.
