Donovan Mitchell took down the Bulls in “money time”
Deprived Darius Garlandspared after playing the previous day in Washington, the Cavaliers found the strength to knock down the Bulls (128-122) in “money time” thanks to a 12-0 run, even after trailing by 19 points! This is their fourth consecutive victory, while the Bulls suffered their third loss in four matches.
Carried by the imperial Evan Mobley from the first minutes, Cleveland started the match well. Mobley scored 11 points in the first quarter, supported by De’Andre Hunter and Jarrett Allen. The ball was fluid with 12 assists on 13 successful shots, and the Cavs led 32-29 after twelve minutes.
10 of 14 3-pointers for the Bulls in the half
But in contrast, the Bulls are terrible from 3 points with Isaac Okor in success against his former team. The game-winning baskets continue to roll in, and the Cavaliers are on the road. With confidence, the Bulls don’t miss a single shot from a distance, and the deficit increases to +19 (72-53). In front of the home crowd, the Cavaliers are relying on the amazing Tyrese Proctor to avoid a major loss, but they are 16 points behind at halftime and Donovan Mitchell is 1 of 10 on shots!
We don’t know what Kenny Atkinson said to his players, but upon returning from the locker room, the Cavaliers showed a completely different face. It’s still Evan Mobley leading the way on offense and defense, and Cleveland goes on a 12-0 run to pick up the score (72-68). On his side, Mitchell finally found the target, with 13 points in this quarter, and at the beginning of the last quarter, the Cavaliers caught up (98-96).
The incredible Jaylon Tyson
After such a comeback, Kenny Atkinson blows Mitchell, and the Bulls immediately take advantage with Isaac Okor to regain a seven-point lead (110-103). Jarrett Allen misses easy baskets, and with two minutes left, the Bulls maintain a small cushion (122-116) despite the intense heat from the incredible Jailon Tison who makes two 3-pointers in quick succession before adding a layup in traffic.
We’re in the heart of “money time,” and Donovan Mitchell is about to catch fire: a 3-pointer with 98 seconds left, a layup on the next layup, then a great one with 34 seconds left to go back in front (125-122). Hunter adds two punches and Tyson closes shop with 4 seconds left. The Cavaliers just went 12-0 to knock off the KO Bulls!
WHAT TO REMEMBER
– Hunter really breaks Giddeie’s ankles. In addition to an excellent performance (29 points, 6 rebounds), De’Andre Hunter marked the action of the evening with a nasty cross to Josh Giddy, who twisted his ankle in the fall. This “ankle breaker” caused hysteria from the Cleveland bench, while Giddy returned to the locker room for treatment!

– Isaac Okoro received a standing ovation. Back to Cleveland for the first time since his transferIsaac Okoro was entitled to a nice ovation and tribute video in the first quarter. The new Bulls guard finished as the Bulls’ top scorer (19 points).
– The bulls fall in line. The third loss in four matches for the Bulls, who, like the day before in Milwaukee, fired at the end. This time, Donovan Mitchell plays like an All-Star. The day before, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo.
