What Embiid likes is having a reliable passer and a player who can bring aggression to the rim. Embiid and Tyrese Maxey were sacked several times by the Raptors defense to help with Watford’s penetration.
The match ball goes home
“He really knows how to play. He can do a lot of different things, as we’ve seen, but most importantly, he’s got great instincts.” says Nick Nurse, as Tirese McKay is proud to have given him the match point. “Being able to hand him the game ball to celebrate his triple-double, it’s a moment we’ll probably remember for a long time. I hope we play together for a long time. I’m just proud of him. I know what he’s capable of — I tease him a lot — but I know what kind of player he is. At the end of the meeting, it was Watford who had the honor of being interviewed on the floor, and he recalled that he was just returning after a two-month absence. “I felt good from the start. I found out earlier in the day that I was going to be the starter, so I just wanted to go out there and make an impact in the win.” he confides. “It’s hard to be out for two months… But I’m just happy to be back. I’ll probably need a few more games to get back to my best form, but it’s coming little by little.”
