The Spurs have a superstar that the Bulls don’t
It goes without saying that Wemby is a generational talent. His work speaks for itself. So it only behooves him to come through in the clutch, as he did.
That’s what it takes expect of the best of the best. Meanwhile, the Bulls don’t have that one superstar player they can count on to succeed. They have decent talent in Josh Giddy, Matas Bouzelis, Nikola Vucevic, Ayo Dosunmu and a healthy Kobe White.
However, they are not exactly the kind of talent that can be categorized in the same way as Wemby. They are a young team looking for a collective identity and building from the ground up. One of them could turn into a phenomenon, but for now it’s Wemby who takes the cake.
