Patrick Dumont writes letter to fans after firing Nick Harrison
The Dallas Mavericks officially announced that Nico Harrison has been relieved of his duties as CEO. Dallas is also officially naming Michael Finley and Matt Riccardi as interim general managers, the team announced. Mavs owner Patrick Dumont released an official statement and also wrote a letter to fans.
“This decision reflects our continued commitment to building a championship-caliber organization, one that delivers results for our players, our partners, and most importantly, our fans,” Dumont said in a statement.

Notably, Dumont and the Mavericks have taken responsibility for helping the Mavericks get back on track. However, Luka Doncic’s name was not mentioned in the letter — even though his trade was a source of frustration for many fans.
