Victor Wembanyama continues to block down Draymond Green’s shot

Every time you see it Victor Vembanyama on the floor, you get the feeling that he’s going to do something you haven’t seen before. He is so special.
on wednesday San Antonio Spurs hosted the Golden State Warriors at Frost Bank Center, and Vembanjama wasted no time giving visitors a rude welcome.
At the beginning of the first quarter, Draymond Green he thought he had an open 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down. After all, Vembanyama was in the painted area and a few feet away from it. Well, Green should have known better. Vembanjama rushed to challenge Green’s shot and blocked the ball in the air.
With the rebound, the 21-year-old center extended his impressive streak to 96 consecutive games with a shutout. On Monday, he moved into third place for the longest hitting streak in league history, trailing only Patrick Ewing (145 consecutive games) and Dikembe Mutombo (116 consecutive games).
Vembanjama was nothing short of exceptional in his third season, leading the Spurs to an 8-2 record, including 5-0 at home, before struggling against the Warriors.
They are coming off a 121-117 win over the Chicago Bulls, and the two-time All-Star had 38 points, including six three-pointers, 12 rebounds, five assists and five blocks. Vembanjama set a new record with its wild production.
With the rapid rise of Vembanaham, the return of De’Aaron Fox from injury and the continued improvement of Stephon Castle, San Antonio will remain a tough challenge in the Western Conference.
The Spurs are well on their way to ending their six-year playoff drought.
