Anthony Davis, Derek Lively II injury status for Clippers-Mavericks

Davis is currently listed as suspicious on a report of a left calf strain injury. Lively is also technically questionable as he battles a sprained right knee, however, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the center will be back on Friday night. PJ Washington suffered a strained left shoulder during the Mavs’ 123-114 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, and he is also listed as questionable.

AD has missed seven consecutive contests. Liveli is limited to a total of three played games. The Mavs hoped to rely on their defense and size this season, but the absence of Davis and Lively made that goal a challenge. Daniel Gafford is not on the injury report, but he also dealt with injury concerns earlier this year.
