The combined record of the Bizarre Nets, Pacers, Wizards is as ugly as it gets

The race for the bottom of the standings this year in the NBA could be for all ages, with teams like the Brooklyn NetsThe Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards are all hoping to reach the bottom and win the top pick in the draft. The 2026 NBA Draft is projected to be loaded with star talent, including the Kansas Jayhawks guard Darrin Peterson and Duke Blue Devils forward Cameron Boozer, son of former NBA forward Carlos Boozer.
Most recently, Legion Hoops recorded on Ksearlier on Twitter, that the combined record of the Nets, Pacers and Wizards so far this year is 3-32, which is not great to say the least.
Not far behind these teams are the New Orleans Pelicans, who have just two wins in the young NBA season and are also dealing with an injury to Zion Williamson at the moment.
The Indiana Pacers entered the year knowing they would be out of contention with Tyrese Haliburton sidelined with a torn Achilles, but few could have predicted they would only have one win for the better part of a month. Meanwhile, the Nets and Pacers were expected to be inept this year, though even they got off to a worse start than some might have imagined.
In any case, NBA draft lottery odds have decreased in recent years, resulting in middling teams like the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, rather than true NBA cellar dwellers, ending up with the top picks the past two seasons. Still, that probably won’t stop the Nets, Pacers and Wizards from doing whatever they can to boost their chances.
