Adou Thiero reacts to Giannis making sure he gets his game ball after the controversy with the referees
On Saturday night, The Los Angeles Lakers continued their winning streak with a road win via the Milwaukee Buckspushing his record in the young 2025-26 NBA season to an impressive 10-4 in the process. The Lakers are now awaiting the return of LeBron James, who they hope will help them take this team to the next level.
Because of the unusual nature of Saturday’s game in Milwaukee, Lakers head coach JJ Reddick was able to put some of his reserves toward the end of the game, including rookie Adu Tierra, who scored his first NBA basket in the win. After the game, the Lakers tried to secure the game ball for Thierry to hold on to, but for some strange reason the court officials wouldn’t allow it. However, the Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo then he stepped in and made sure Thiero got the ball in a heart-warming moment.
“At first I didn’t even know it was all because of me, but I’m very grateful to this team and I think it shows how connected we are and how much we want each other to succeed as a team,” Tiero said. after the gameaccording to Dave McMenamin of ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.
Nice win by the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off easy road wins over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday and the Bucks on Saturday to help shake off some bad vibes from earlier in their road trip.
On Sunday, the Lakers also received word from ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania that LeBron James has finished practicing with the G League’s South Bay Lakers and will now rejoin the main team for practice.
Either way, the Lakers somehow only have one game in the next seven days, which is Tuesday night at home against the Utah Jazz at 10:30 PM ET.
