Zacharie Risacher leaves the Suns game after a scary fall after a dunk

Zachary Risacher had a terrible incident after dunking the ball in Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns match on Sunday night.

Rizaher is going through the second year of his NBA career. He’s made strides as a shooter and playmaker in an Atlanta offense that creates plenty of opportunities for players to produce. This was no different for Risacher, who provides a unique skill set that involves spacing the floor and getting solid shots inside the arc.

However, one of his attempts to attack the rim went awry. The game came midway through the fourth quarter during a fast break. Phoenix turned the ball over when Rizacher gained possession and rose into the air to throw down a two-handed dunk. However, the momentum he had prevented him from hanging firmly on the rim, which saw it fall on the hardwood in an awkward way.

Risacher laid on the floor for a while, but was able to get back under his own power, according to reporter Hayden Seeley.

“Zachary Rizaher went down hard after a transition dunk. He was on the ground for a few minutes, but he came back under his own power and is heading to the locker room,” wrote Cilley.
