Victor Wembanyama out for ‘several weeks’ with shin injury

Started on excellent statistical foundations (26.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3.6 blocks, 1.1 steals) and on very good collective foundations with Spurs (9 wins – 4 losses), Victor Vembanyama joined the Texas dispensary, after having an MRI during the day.

ESPN announces that he is suffering from a strained left calf and that he will be absent from the competition for at least “two to three weeks”. It was because of this injury that he missed the first game of the season against the Kings on Sunday night. And it’s definitely a sad trend in the NBA, as calf issues recur (Anthony Davis, I Morant, Coby White, Dylan Harper, You Jerome)…

A new blow for Saint Anthony and especially for Victor Vembanyama, injured on Friday against the Warriors and who already had to be out for many months, due to venous thrombosis of the shoulder.

His franchise, of course, won’t take any chances on his health, especially with previous Tyrese Halliburton, but that breaks his big dynamic, which made him a “DPOI” favorite and a potential All-Star.
