When Darius Garland, Jailon Tyson return from injury?

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson share updates on Darius Garland and Jaylon Tyson on Wednesday before the team’s meeting with the Houston Rockets. They were quite encouraging.
Garland is “itching” to return and it’s not far away.
“He had contact,” Atkinson said in his pregame press conference. “He’s played 3-on-3, 4-on-4, a little bit of 5-on-5, as much as we have. I just think we’re there. We’re getting closer to getting over that hump and having him in the lineup.”
Meanwhile, Tyson is also “super close” to being active again for Cleveland. Atkinson revealed that Wednesday was even a possibility, but the organization wanted provide extra caution with a sophomore swingman.
“I think (Cavs director of player health and head athletic trainer) Steve (Spiro) really has a good approach with these guys,” Atkinson said. “We can wait another game, probably. Hopefully Friday. But he looked great when he came back to play the protocol.”
Tyson and Garland have missed the last four games, both with injuries suffered in Miami last Monday. Tyson has been in concussion protocol since showing symptoms after the game that night, while Garland re-injured his surgically repaired big toe on a routine drive to the basket where he made contact with Heat forward Nikola Jovic.
Over the past week, the Cavs have had some rough performances despite a 3-1 record on the schedule. The Wine and Gold’s offense hasn’t been pretty without a point guard and a bright, young sophomore wing, so getting those two back will undoubtedly help the team in multiple areas.
Cleveland has been steadfast in protecting its players from a grueling schedule of 15 games in 27 nights. That’s tied for the most plays in the league. While it is The Cavs were fined $100,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for resting Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley rematch in Miami seven days ago, it’s clear the franchise will do whatever it takes to ensure the health of its roster.
