To use your enemy as a body shield in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, you have to get behind the enemy player and double tap the fight button. The melee button differs depending on the platform you’re playing the game on:

• PC – ‘V’
• Xbox/PlayStation – RS/R3

When you do it right, grab your enemy and hold them as a body shield. This allows you to move, although your movement speed is reduced. However, having a body shield protects you from enemy fire, giving you a bit more coverage. Furthermore, using a body shield prevents your opponent from doing anything, allowing you to essentially take out one of the enemy team’s players for a short period of time.

How to use Body Shield finishing moves or get rid of your Body Shield

Furthermore, there are technically three ways to get rid of your Body Shield in Black Ops 7, including using a finishing move. Overall, players with Body Shields can do the following:

• Quick Kill – The fastest method of removing Body Shield
• Finishing move – A stylized performance for extra shine
• Finisher Grenade – Place a grenade on the enemy before hitting them forward

First, Quick Kill provides the fastest way to get rid of your Body Shield. It allows you to get back into action faster, which can be a matter of life or death in certain situations.

Second, the Finishing Move is a more stylized execution. If you’re in the middle of a big firefight, we don’t recommend using this move. But if it’s the last enemy of the round, or you’re just playing privately, feel free to show off to your enemies.

Finally, the grenade finisher is a stylized execution with a real purpose. With it, you throw a grenade at your enemy and throw him forward. You won’t always destroy other enemies with your grenade, but you never know when it might help. It never hurts to try this move when you’re around other enemies.

The Bodi Shield mechanic allows for voice chat between the shield and the shield user. So get ready for tough conversations between you and your enemy. However, if you want to turn this setting off, go to Settings > Controller > Battle Settings > Advanced Battle Settings > Turn Off Body Shield & Execution Behavior.
