Of course, J Huff got a Hufflepuff hoodie from his wife after the big game against the Bulls
J Huff mentioned his last name – and his love of Harry Potter – during a recent press conference.
Hough was seen wearing a Hufflepuff sweatshirt after Indiana Pacers‘ in a 101-103 win against the Chicago Bulls on November 29th.
“Jay Huff in a Hufflepuff T-shirt after the game,” wrote Forbes Sports reporter Tony East on X. “His wife bought it for him at the Harry Potter store.”
“I’m mostly impressed that she can wear anything from the Harry Potter store,” one fan wrote in the comments section.
East replied to the fan: “I was thinking the same thing. I had to be a funny question. ‘What’s the biggest size you have in the back?’
During Saturday’s game against the Bulls, Huff scored his first 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked four shots.
This is Huff’s first year with the Pacers after they acquired him from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for a 2029 second-round pick and a 2031 second-round trade. A year ago with the Grizzlies, he played for the Denver Nuggets (2023-2024),
Washington Wizards (2022-2023) and Los Angeles Lakers (2021-2022).
Hough’s teammate Obi Taupin praised the Pacers center work ethics before the start of the season and he is doing well in Toppin’s predictions.
“All the big things we have here are amazing. … And Jay Huff is really smart and really good at basketball. He comes in and does his job. He’s going to figure things out very quickly. … I can’t wait for the season,” Toppin told 8Points9Seconds.
Huff is the current league leader in blocks per game at 2.3 BPG.
The Pacers’ next game is against the Cleveland Cavaliers tomorrow, December 1st.
