Anthony Davis is on injury status for the Nuggets game

Dallas Mavericks forward Anthony Davis did not play for the second straight game Saturday night against the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Dallas still managed to win 114-110. So will Davis play Monday night in Denver against the Nuggets?
According to NBA injury report, Davis is listed as probable due to treatment of an injury to the left calf. It looks like AD will be available against the Nuggets, barring any unforeseen injuries.
Cooper Flagg is also listed on the injury report with a right thumb splint, but is available. PJ Washington (right ankle sprain) and Brandon Williams (left adductor sprain) are both questionable, while Daniel Gafford (right ankle sprain) is questionable. Derek Lively II (right foot injury management), Kyrie Irving (left knee surgery) and Dante Exum (right knee injury management) have been ruled out.
Flagg led the way Saturday with a game-high 35 points. Klay Thompson also played well in the win. While the Mavericks missed AD, they played respectable basketball despite his absence.
Still, Dallas hopes Davis will be back Monday night in Denver. The 32-year-old averaged 19.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per outing in a total of six games played. There’s no doubt that Davis is a great player, but staying healthy has been an issue for the Mavs star.
Davis’ official status will be announced Monday before tipoff. For now, it is considered probable.
Monday night’s game between the Mavs and Nuggets is set for 9:00 PM EST in Denver.
