Draymond Green admits it’s a ‘s****i’ to miss the birth of a child
With The Golden State Warriors are playing against the Philadelphia 76ers Thursday night begins a three-game road trip that could be crucial for the team, but most importantly for the star Draymond Green. As Green and the Warriors are looking to bounce back after pushing the Oklahoma City Thunderalthough it resulted in a 124-112 loss, the forward family would soon grow.
There are reports that Green is indeed expecting a baby soon, and with the team embarking on an East Coast road trip, there’s a chance the 35-year-old could miss it. Asked by Kerith Burke about going on the road with a memorial opportunity on the horizon, Greene would be vulnerable and admit it “shit,” while also using the word NSFV to describe how it feels.
“It’s awful. Pretty s****o to be honest,” Green said. “But regardless, this is my job. I love doing my job. But it’s horrible to be honest,” Green said. “However, it’s not the first time I’ve been in this position. But my wife is doing a great job. She’s strong. I’ll do everything I can to come back here if I have to.”
I asked this question in my pained voice, and you can clearly hear “with something big on the horizon.” He did NOT miss the birth of his child, his answer was about being able to get that phone call while he is on the east coast and she is on the west coast. https://t.co/vTpRnjfEB9

Warriors’ Draymond Green on Balancing Being a Player and a Father

Doc Green’s son was in attendance when the Warriors lost to the Thunderthe family will soon welcome a new member, although the player can only hope that he can make it in time for his wife, Hazel, and the newborn. The life of an NBA player and balancing it with a father seems like a difficult task to overcome, which Green has accomplished.
“I haven’t seen my family much in the last month“Really, so we try to appreciate the moments that we have,” Green said, via NBC Bay Area. “But yeah, it’s fun, they keep me on my toes. That’s why they were here, and there’s so much going on. I was happy he was here.”
Golden State is 11-11 and looks to get back into the winning column when the team takes on the 76ers on Thursday.
