OKC’s injury information for the game against the suddenly hot Mavericks

The The Oklahoma City Thunder seem to feel unstoppable right nowand it’s not hard to see why.

In 22 games in the 2025-26 NBA season, the reigning champions have lost just once — and that loss was a two-point loss in the rematch of a straight set on the road. And since that loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, Shai Giljus-Alexander and company have won 13 straight games.

Again, who will stop them?

Maybe the Dallas Mavericks?

On paper, the Mavs, who will visit OKC this Saturday, are clearly no match for Oklahoma City, as Dallas has just an 8-15 record and is out of the playoff and NBA picture.

But the Mavericks are also on a roll, having won all of their last three assignments, including a 131-121 victory in the Mile High City against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets last Monday, followed by a 118-108 home victory over the Miami Heat.

Also, the Thunder are not at full strength right now, as the team is dealing with some injuries. Alec Caruso, Lou Dort and Isaiah Hartenstein are everyone will miss the meeting with the Mavericks, according to the NBA’s official injury report for Friday’s games.

This will be the fourth game Caruso has missed with a quad strain, and the third straight for Dort, who has a right adductor strain. This will be Hartenstein’s fourth in a row due to deformation of the right soleus.

Good news for OKC, that is after a 124-112 win against the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Tuesday, is that the likes of Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams are all active as the Thunder look to win their 14th straight and remain in the discussion of potentially breaking the Dubs’ single-season record of 73 wins.
