Blake Griffin ‘disappointed’ in Clippers after Chris Paul’s shocking decision

The Los Angeles Clippers were in disarray when Chris Paul arrived via trade in 2011. They had promising young players like Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordanbut they needed someone to bring stability and credibility to the franchise. The future Hall of Fame point guard quickly helped the Clips become a consistent presence in the playoffs, something that had eluded them for decades. When these two sides reunited last offseason, fans expected a friendly game together.

However, that did not happen. LA without ceremony separated from Paul earlier this week, much to his chagrin. The 40-year-old now has a chance to join a champion, which the Clippers clearly didn’t. Even so, he obviously didn’t expect such a sudden split. Griffin is unhappy with how the organization handled the situation, coming to the defense of his longtime teammate during the NBA Prime pregame show.

“I’m disappointed in Chris Paul, but I’m disappointed in the Clippers organization,” the three-time second-team All-NBA selection said, via the account “Oh, no, not X.” “I spoke to him today, {there was} no communication with Steve Ballmer and that’s disappointing to me.”
