Anthony Davis struggled from the start, finishing with just two points on 1-of-9 shooting, and the sight of the Thunder falling out of reach left Mavericks fans reeling. This wasn’t just another night off. It was a a collapse that carried the weightand reactions poured in quickly.
Even one fan he joked that Davis looked “like a ball boy.”
Others blasted his career without LeBron James. One more torched Mavericks front office. And another fan gone so far as he said Davis wasn’t even playing “for Dallas” with that performance.

Dallas needs Davis steady. They certainly need him. They need him to be the anchor he was meant to be.
