Buffalo turns the Bengals game around with back-to-back picks by Joe Barrow

On Sunday afternoon, The Buffalo Bills took the field at home for a crucial AFC game against the Cincinnati Bengalswho are looking to continue on their playoff trajectory after last week’s big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Things didn’t go well for the Bills in this game, as the Bengals took control early and led most of the way.
However, that all changed in the fourth quarter when Joe Burrow threw a pick-six to Christian Benford on what should have been a screen pass that ended up being returned to the house for Buffalo, giving them the edge.
Then, on the very next play from the Bengals’ scrimmage, Barrow threw another interception, this time off a deflection, to AJ Epeses.
The Bills would eventually take that turnover, drive the ball down the field and turn it into a fourth-and-goal situation to extend their lead to double digits late in the fourth quarter.
All in all, it was an impressive display of resiliency from a Bills team that has been down and up multiple times this year.
Things haven’t always gone according to plan for the Bills in 2025, with the team’s offense falling short of expectations at times, including giving up eight sacks against the Houston Texans two weeks ago on Thursday Night Football.
However, the defense proved to be opportunistic, and the team still employs arguably the best football player in Josh Allen, which certainly helps in these situations.
