‘We put the belt on the a**’

Quavo some Georgia Bulldogs love him.
The Atlanta-raised rapper was there at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to testify Georgia beat Alabama 28-7 to secure back-to-back titles. The win was coach Kirby Smart’s fourth.
In an interview with a reporter, Quavo was proud of Georgia’s victory.
“How do you describe this performance of your boys?” SEC Network asked the Grammy-nominated rapper.
“Flawless win, we call it BTA,” the Migos rapper declared before explaining the acronym. “Belt to a**.”
Quavo isn’t the only one who believes the Bulldogs showed up and dressed for Georgia with their stellar performance.
“Georgia just showed why it controls the trenches, control the game,” one fan wrote on X. “That Alabama win is not lucky – the Bulldogs were all about that scrimmage. Championship football right there.”
“Georgia proved it in championship moment, another fan wrote. “DeBoer’s system exposed, Smart gets his own revenge story. Respect the place when it matters most.”
“We call it BTA.”

After the win, Smart said how proud he was of his team despite the quandary they faced after suffering their only loss of the season to Alabama.
“It’s not about redemption; they have a great program, a great head coach,” Smart told ESPN. “It’s about our team tonight. These guys were questionable, and since that last game – our team was really physical tonight. They played a great game. Really proud of them and proud of these Georgia fans.”
Gunner Stockton was named the game’s MVP after completing 20 of 26 passes for 156 yards with 3 touchdowns.
“It feels great to see him get it,” Bulldogs cornerback Daylen Everett said of Stockton. “Proud of him for everything he’s done this year. Probably one of the toughest kids on the team. Toughest kid I know. Takes all the hits, pops right up.”
While his teammates did Stockton proud, he shared the spirit of the team and his courage brought them championship victory.
“We never gave up,” Stockton said. “I think we’ve shown that in every game. I think that’s one of the best parts of our team, because we never give up.”
Next up for the Bulldogs is that they have a good shot at making it to the Sugar Bowl on January 1st
