Draymond Green addresses Kenyon Martin by ranking the PF for him

Golden State Warriors a veteran Draymond Green clapped back at Kenyon MartinOn the list of strikers the retired striker says are better than the four-time champion. Martin responded to Green by calling him weaker listing dozens of forwards he says are/were better than Draymond.

Green answered on Martin’s list on the Draymond Green Show.

“I didn’t actually hear all the names. I just read some of them because I don’t really look at what people are saying. It was interesting to me that a lot of people said he didn’t make the list,” Green said. “You know, some of those names that I read were just interesting. It got a little emotional. Shout out to all 50 of these guys, though, for having a hell of an NBA career and doing what they did, putting their name in the bucket.”

“I respect them all; it’s all love, good for them. I can make people matter and that’s a good skill. And it’s a great honor, I’ll wear that hat with a lot of pride,” Green concluded.

Draymond Green is not insulting anyone on the list, or Kenyon Martin, just saying that some of the names were interesting and Kenyon Martin fell off the list emotionally. Some of the borderline names mentioned by Kenyon Martin include Reggie Evans, Bo Outlaw, Popeye Jones, Tim Thomas, Nene Hilario, Al Harrington, Otis Thorpe, David Lee and Drew Gooden.

In just his third season, Martin helped lead the New Jersey Nets (before moving to Brooklyn) to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances in 2003. He made his first and only All-Star appearance during the 2003-04 campaign.

while the warriors Draymond Green has been short with the media these days he had time for Kenyon Martin, whose opinion of Green included calling him a “fake tough guy” earlier this season. The back and forth led to Draymond downplaying Martin’s impact in the NBA during his playing days.

Then Martin dropped his list of progressives says they have or had better NBA careers than Green.

It will be interesting to see if Martin takes things a step further in a potential response.
