Jalen Hurts is enduring a historically embarrassing game
The Philadelphia Eagles they rarely look Jalen Hurts cough up football. But the Super Bowl-winning quarterback hit a historically embarrassing moment against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hurts started by throwing an interception to Da’Shavn Hand. However, a rush on the edge kicked the ball out for a fumble. Hurts picked up the football… only to lose it again Monday Night Football.
Super Bowl LIX Most Valuable Player reached a mark not seen since 1978according to ESPN Insights. He is the first player in 47 years to double fault.
That unfortunate moment made for a messy evening at SoFi Stadium between the two playoff contenders.
Eagles vs. Chargers marred by offensive lapses

Hurts wasn’t the only one who had the wrong moment on the field.
The Eagles KB was even firedof all people, Sally from Monsters Inc. The popular Disney character even turned to hand-to-hand combat from the edge to defeat the edge and come up with a comic sack.

But in real life, Hurts was bottled up to just nine rushing yards and 127 through the air before the end of the fourth. Los Angeles didn’t start much offensively either.
The Bolts converted just five of 12 third downs before the fourth came. Justin Herbert also endured a rough first three quarters — taking five sacks. Jalik Hunt drove in Herbert twice to lead Philly.
Even the Chargers witnessed this scary moment: Star safety Dervin James leaves for a moment with potential head injury.
Saquon Barkley, however, snapped the Eagles out of their offensive slump with a 52-yard rushing touchdown to take a 16-13 lead into the fourth.
