Jimmy Butler didn’t mince words about why he can be a pain in the ass

After that Victory of the Golden State Warriors over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, 123-91, the team looks for three straight victories on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, with both opponents sharing one similarity: being former teams Jimmy Butler. As Butler received praise from everyone around the Warriorsthere is no doubt about his exit from his former teams, as the star himself expresses his thoughts.
Whether it was Chicago, Minnesota, or especially last year’s drama with the Miami Heat, the sports world has pointed to Butler as either a spotlight or a pain. Butler would talk to the team’s local NBC Sports affiliate and say so “victory” remains at the forefront of his NBA goals, and if it detracts from “other plans,” then the people in question “won’t like it.”
“I wouldn’t say there’s anything we’ve missed, but I will say I’m always about win, win at all costs,” Butler said, via video by MrBuckBucks on X, formerly Twitter. “Somebody that doesn’t dwell on winning, and it could be a lot of different things if it’s not about winning, I’m telling you right now, I’m not here for that. It’s like it has to be about winning, everything we do, it has to be about winning.”
“If it’s about winning a championship,” Butler continued. “I’m all for it. If it’s not, and there are any other plans, you’re not going to like it because I don’t care. I’m literally just here to win. That’s it. I don’t care about anything else.”

There’s no denying that some fans are waiting to see if Butler follows suit with Golden State if he ever leaves the team, but so far, the team is currently 13-12 as the Warriors next face Minnesota on Friday.
