2 players Houston wants to trade

The Houston Astros they are again involved in some trade rumblings. One player associated with the Boston Red Sox is Isaac Paredes, but the Astros won’t trade him easily.
With the MLB Winter Meetings coming to a close, trade talks and free agency buzz will continue for the next few months.
While it remains to be seen which way Houston will go this time around, Jim Bowden of the Athletics mentioned that the Astros looking at that exchange two players.
“The Cardinals will move Brendan Donovan, the Giants will listen to Bryce Eldridge, the Padres are acquiring Jake Kronevoort and Nick Pivetta, the Astros are trying to move Christian Walker and Jake Myers, the Royals will move a starter for a strong lefty, and the Red Sox will replace Jaren Duran in right if they get a righty.”
Walker completed the 2025 season. 238 with 27 home runs and 88 RBIs. Walker just signed a three-year, $60 million deal with the Astros last offseasonso leaving this early would be a surprise.
Meyers turns 30 in June, but hit .292 with three home runs and 24 RBIs in 104 games for the Astros. Still, he has attracted commercial interestand teams such as the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kansas City Royals have been named as options for the MLB Winter Meetings.
