The Bucks are still chasing all trade suitors for Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks are one team that everyone is looking at, because there is a the possibility that Giannis Antetokounmpo requests a trade from the team. There seems to be a lot of talk surrounding him, but as of now, the Bucks are letting the league know that they are they don’t trade it right now, according to Clutch Points’ Brett Siegel.
“The Bucks are not getting any calls on him. Teams that have inquired about Giannis have basically been told no, and so far there have been no trade talks for Giannis,” Siegel said.
Of course, that dialogue could change at any time, but the Bucks are hoping Antetokounmpo doesn’t ask for a trade. There was always a chance that could happen, especially when you look at how unsatisfied the team has been this season.
Add to the fact that Antetokounmpo will miss the next few weeks due to injury, and things are likely to get worse before they get better for the Bucks. That alone could frustrate Antetokounmpo even more and make him want to leave as soon as possible.
There will be several suitors looking to acquire Antetokounmpo if he becomes available, but it will be interesting to see what the Bucks will want in return from teams. If they want to start fresh with the team, then looking for assets and young players will most likely be on their bingo card.
If they still feel they have a chance to compete, they could look to All-Star talent to help them stay competitive in a wide-open Eastern Conference.
