Blazers ahead Danny Avdia sent directly saw a message to a childhood hero in a video the team shared on X, formerly Twitter.
“Hey John (Cena), for a guy who grew up watching you, I just want to wish you luck in your last match. Let’s get ’em baby,” said Danny Awdia, punctuating the message with Cena’s trademark performance.

The Blazers organization leaned into the moment, posting a message of support ahead of the bye. The message makes it clear that Avdia’s gesture reflects not only personal fandom, but a broader show of support for the franchise.
“Good luck in your final match, John Cena. Rip City is rooting for you, especially Danny,” the Portland Trail Blazers posted on X, formerly Twitter.
